Safe to say these natives survived while the blackberry was sprayed. No auto flight route, no mapping this job was flown entirely manually, and the results speak for themselves. Blackberry dead, natives untouched.

This is what you're really investing in with us not just the drone technology, but our pilot's skill and experience. That's precision not every operator can deliver.

We have completed 125 hectares of winter spraying for a customer, targeting Ragwort with Relay Super S.

Being a more hilly dairy farm the drone was a great option. Working around native vegetation, rocks and powerlines getting the chemical only where it’s needed.

Rather than trying to cover the entire farm in one operation, we did 30 odd hectares every 2 weeks, following the cows grazing rotation and allowing the appropriate withholding period to be observed.

The result is a spraying programme that fits around the farm — rather than the farm having to fit around the spraying.

We have completed a Blackberry spot spraying job across an 800+ hectare dry stock farm in the heart of the King Country.

With blackberry scattered right across the property, we orchestrated the drone to hunt down the blackberry wherever it was hiding — only treating what actually needed it, 22.13 hectares out of the 800+, under 3% of the total farm but evenly scattered. That’s 22.13 hectares of grazing area taken back once the plants have wilted and broken down, while also preventing further rapid growth and loss of pasture.

The alternative would have been the farmer spending weeks working through it themselves, or bringing in a ground spot spraying crew — which would have taken considerably longer and still wouldn’t have reached every patch across such a large, unforgiving, scattered area.

The drone would often travel 500+ metres from the take-off point to reach blackberry growing in spots completely inaccessible to a vehicle — steep faces, gullies, and remote corners of the farm.

Covering roughly 27.6 hectares of farmland per hour and treating around 0.76 hectares of actual blackberry per hour, with these averages taken from total in the gate to out the gate time, the drone tracked down every patch it could find, completing the whole farm in 29 hours across 4 days.

At the end was a very satisfied customer - proof that if you’ve got weeds scattered across hard to reach or unforgiving country, we can get it done efficiently and effectively.
